Essas \u00e1guas prov\u00eam de nascentes em uma fal\u00e9sia de 200 metros de altura que  se destaca na plan\u00edcie. A paisagem \u00e9 composta por florestas minerais, cachoeiras petrificadas e bacias em socalcos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No s\u00e9culo II a.C., os At\u00e1lidas, reis de P\u00e9rgamo, fundaram o balne\u00e1rio termal de Hier\u00e1polis.
