Welcome to the heart of the olympic Games
The notable attractions in Olympia Greece encompass the Ancient Stadium, the temples dedicated to Zeus and Hera, and notably the Archaeological Museum, which showcases remarkable exhibits and discoveries from excavations conducted in the area.
The Byzantine emperor Theodosius put a halt to the Olympic Games in 394 AC, considering them to be a pagan ritual. However, after several centuries, in 1896, the games were revived thanks to the visionary French baron Pierre de Coubertin.
